New Commercial Manager
Since January 1, 2022, Barbara Köfinger is the new Commercial Manager at KLINGER Dichtungstechnik (KDT) in Gumpoldskirchen and at KLINGER Germany (KID) in Idstein.
Barbara Köfinger has been with KLINGER for almost ten years, most recently at KDT as an authorized signatory and Head of Controlling & Logistics. Since the beginning of 2022 she has been promoted to Managing Director.
She follows Michael Sautter, who moved to the KLINGER Holding GmbH, where he takes over the management of the newly founded „Sealing Business Unit“ as „Business Unit Director“. In this role, Michael Sautter will coordinate the further development and implementation of the KLINGER Group's gasket sheet and flat gasket strategy.
„I’m looking forward to the new challenge“, says Barbara Köfinger. In addition to her new role as Commercial Managing Director, she remains the Head of the Finance, Controlling, Purchase, Logistics and IT. But that’s not all: Doch das ist nicht alles: The sales and product development departments are now also part of her area of responsibility.
The near future will probably be anything but boring for Barbara Köfinger. With the words „We can’t simply rest on our past success.“, she starts fully motivated and ready for action into the year 2022.
Together with Ernst Schäfer, the Technical Managing Director at KDT, she is going to direct the company in Gumpoldskirchen.
