KLINGER Gaja wins PRIMUS Award 2025
With this innovation, KLINGER Dichtungstechnik was recognized for its active commitment to environmental initiatives.
On the opening day of the DIAM & DDM 2025 trade fair in Bochum, the prestigious PRIMUS Award 2025 ceremony took place. The award was presented in the three categories: “Actuators,” “Valves,” and “Sealing Technology.” Our latest product innovation, KLINGER Gaja, emerged as the winner in the “Sealing Technology” category.
A milestone for innovation and sustainability
The award recognises our commitment to delivering advanced solutions in industrial sealing while maintaining a strong focus on environmental responsibility. KLINGER Gaja is the first gasket for which the raw materials were selected primarily from renewable organic resources – a decisive step toward reducing the ecological footprint.
With this new material, KLINGER Dichtungstechnik is actively implementing its environmental initiatives. To minimise unnecessary environmental impact, we have consciously avoided the use of colour pigments and mineral oils, further strengthening the product’s overall sustainability credentials.
KLINGER Gaja was developed especially for companies that place value on sustainability and embodies our ambition to provide environmentally-responsible solutions without compromise on performance. The material contains the highest possible proportion of renewable raw materials, including natural rubber, organic cellulose fibres, and bio-circulating silica.
„We are proud and honored that our efforts in environmental protection and product carbon footprint reduction have been recognized. With KLINGER Gaja, we enable organizations to meet both technical gasket requirements and sustainability goals without compromise. Thanks to the use of renewable raw materials, KLINGER Gaja significantly lowers the corporate carbon footprint—while maintaining full sealing performance.“
