ISO 45001 - Are you safe? We are!

KLINGER Dichtungstechnik has extended its integrated Management system (IMS) by ISO 45001.

Now it's official: KLINGER Dichtungstechnik is also certified according to "ISO 45001 management systems for safety and health at work".

KLINGER Dichtungstechnik has always been committed to highest operational safety, but not yet within the strict framework of a standard designed for this purpose.

However, this has changed in 2021… KLINGER Dichtungstechnik has successfully passed the certification process for ISO 45001 – the standard for occupational health and safety management.

Following a long and labor-intensive period of preparation, in December 2021 the audit of TÜV-Süd took place. As part of this, compliance with various regulations regarding occupational safety had been checked in detail. Since then, KDT has been "ISO 45001 certified".

„The issue of health and safety at work is part of our comprehensive CSR initiative. In this context, we feel obliged to implement the highest possible level of protection for our staff and thus assume our responsibility towards our employees..“

Stephan Piringer, Managing Director in terms of trade law
at KLINGER Dichtungstechnik

All ISO management systems have a common basic structure – the so-called high-level structure. Due to the common content, goals, terms and definitions it makes it easier to work with several standards and also to integrate new standards into an existing system.

For quite a long time, our integrated management system has combined the systems according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and the EMAS III regulation. This creates the prerequisites for ensuring the quality and environmental compatibility of our products and processes under optimal economic conditions.
